A calming sensory room created at a Staffordshire primary school to help children’s transition into a new class, as part of the Positive Play Support Programme.
The programme is one of the first within the local area. Along with our customer, JWS Builders, we offered the lighting design, lighting and labour free of charge. The designs encompassed changing colour LEDs to create a calming, soothing environment. The Positive Play concept established in Derbyshire and jointly works with SENSS, Lichfield and Cannock. The scheme is designed to enable children to express and communicate their feelings, feel good about themselves, raise their self-esteem and improve their social skills in a reliable, safe and supportive environment.
