To improve lighting efficiency and luminescence throughout the communal areas of a 15-storey block of flats.
The Approach
The 613 existing light fittings were replaced with energy efficient 38W LED Flat Panels, 12W LED stairwell fittings and a combination of LED tube technology backed by a full five-year warranty on both the products and installation.
The Outcome
The new fittings will provide improved cost and operational efficiency in lighting and a more positive luminesce output for the tenants. With an average usage of 12 hours per day, 365 days per year, the replacement LED technology will bring an average return on investment of 40% per annum.
